In Pro Tools 8.0, you can set your clock reference to WorkClock and ProTools will automatically "resolve position" to the video reference signal if it is present (there's a little indicator saying if video ref is present or not).
so basically version 8 resolves frame edges from video ref (if a valid ref is present) when it is locked to wordclock? so seems they fixed the word clock issue in version 8 right? But then you still need a sync HD when you runnin 24 fps and want to lock to wordclock. Otherwise no 24fps frame edge (slow pal or 24 tri level) best regards daniel vogl PS: i already love this blog
